    SOFT WASH
Typically when someone uses the term soft wash they are referring to the use of chemicals, sodium hypochlorite, detergents, surfactants, and other cleaning agents. The cleaning agents are applied to the surface at very low pressure. This type of wash is pefect for the exterior of a house. This is also true of some hard surfaces like stones that are placed in sand or dirt instead of mortar. essentially if there is any risk of damaging the surface we want a soft wash. However, some surfaces require more pressure and a soft wash will not properly clean things like concrete, decks, fences and other hard surfaces.

    Pressure wash
Pressure washing is the process of cleaning the exterior of a house using high pressure commercial units up to 4000 PSI. This can effectively clean hard surfaces. This includes hard surfaces on the exterior of a house, especially brick and concrete. However using high pressure on surfaces that are unable to withstand it can cause damage to your house, windows, and other surfaces.

    Power wash or Hot wash
The main difference between a soft wash and a power wash is that the power wash has an additional heating element. This heating element has several benefits; if you are also performing a soft wash the heating element can help the chemical work faster and more effectively. However, it is critical with this type of wash that the technician is familiar with the equipment, adjusts the temperature to the surface, and only uses the heat at the appropriate time.
